EAST AFRICA SAFARI 2 (10 DAY)
Day 01 Miami to London
Depart for London on overnight flight for connecting flight to Nairobi,
Kenya
Day 02 London/Nairobi
Arrive London in the early a.m. Depending upon air carrier you may
wish a one-day tour of London before departure. Late evening flight
to Nairobi the Safari Capitol.
Day 03 Nairobi, Kenya
"Jambo" (Hello and Welcome) to Africa. Transfer to hotel
for overnight stay. This afternoon you may wish to visit the Giraffe
Center to feed the animals, The Karen Blixen Museum or shop in the
the local craft shops.
Day 04 Nairobi/Aberdare
Depart Nairobi after breakfast for a drive north to the Aberdare and
an overnight stay at a "tree house" hotel and overnight
viewing of game at a watering hole.
Day 05 & 06 Aberdare/Sambura/Sweetwater
Depending upon the time of year, we continue to the tented camp along
the river at Sweetwaters for your first bush experience in search
of the Big Five, a night game drive and camel ride or onto Sambura
for two wonderful nights with twice daily game drives and meeting
with the Sambura people.
Day 07 Lake Navaisha or Nakuru
Continue trip into the Great Rift Valley for fantastic bird life and
more game watching at the waters' edge. Overnight in the Valley area.
Day 08 & 09 Masaimara
Cross the volcanic plains and head south to the great Maru the northern
end of the Serengeti, View abundant wildlife or if you wish take a
hot air balloon safari and visit with the colorful Maasai people.
Two game drives daily.
A visit to the Mara is unforgettable!
Day 10 Mara/Nairobi
Return to Nairobi for relaxation, last minute shopping and preparation
for your return flight to USA via London.
Tour may be extended with a visit to the famed Mt. Kenya Safari Club
or additional days on tour.
