Day 1 - Departure USA
Day 2 - (D) Arrival Dakar. Transfer to hotel. Afternoon Orientation
and City Tour.
Welcome Dinner.
Day 3 - (B, L) A day tour the infamous Goree Island and later
local Market shopping
Day 3- (B, L) Day tour to Pink Lake and an afternoon Dune
safari on the beach. A return for dinner and evening on your own.
Optional tours for those interested in night life, music and dance.
Day 4 - (B,D) Departure to Banjul. Day at leisure. Accommodations
at beach resort. Dinner at local restaurant.
Day 5 - (B, L) Departure for cruise boat tour to Juffureh/James
Island Visit to Kunta Kente hometown and the Museum. Late afternoon
return to Banjul.
Day 7- (B, D) Full day tour for shopping, visiting local
sites to include Museums and the crocodile pool. Evening entertainment
with an African Naming Ceremony and a Farewell Dinner.
Overview: This trip provides a taste of West Africa for those in
search of an understanding of their African heritage and delivery
from the coastal citiesof West Africa. Opportunities are provided
to mix and mingle with local sisters and brothers to share stories
and knowledge. The pace allows opportunities to participate in some
activities, drumming, dancing, etc. at an easy pace. A very relaxed
